On Sunday, German golf player Martin Kaymer told that his fellow countryman golfer Bernhard Langer played an important role in his Nedbank Golf Challenge win at Gary Player Country Club. Martin’s 2 – shot win at the Sun City was his very first wince the Shanghai’s HSBC Champions that took place in the year 2011. Early that year, he was ranked as World No. 1 golfer and he told that he was attempting to reignite his golf career that saw him sink to thirty second in the world rating of professional golfers.
After his win, Martin Kaymer told that Bernhard Langer has always been a big help for him at Ryder Cup; he gave him many advices that he could use for regular golf tournaments.
Bernhard Langer claimed the 1st half of German double at the Sun City when he snatched the Champions Challenge on Saturday. Martin followed him as only the second German player to be ranked No. 1 and the Ryder Cup hero stated that his fellow countryman has been an inspiration for him.
Martild told that almost everyone was speaking about a German double; so there was a bit more pressure on him. He is really proud to have his name on that path at the 9th green and to be a part of the special circle of champions. The German golfer considered season 2012 as a successful one because of the progress he made in shot selection and his swing.
